Development Manager

Born many years ago in Aberdeen, and brought up there. Initially studied Theology at Aberdeen University, followed by English with Celtic Studies at same. Years of working in administration and customer services followed...

Eventually decided to follow the dream, and I went back to university, this time to Grays School of Art. After a fantastic four years, including 6 months studying in Prague, I graduated with BA (Hons) Sculpture.


I then promptly got sucked straight back into Grays as a Glass & Ceramics Technician. I later escaped to the country, moving out to the back of Bennachie, Aberdeenshire, initially working as Project Manager for Deveron Arts in Huntly.

I have now started a new phase as Arts Development Manager at the Scottish Sculpture Workshop in Lumsden, Aberdeenshire. My job involves business development (relating to use of the foundry and other facilities) and audience development (strengthening links with community and education).

It is really exciting to be working with SSW during this busy time in our development, and I can't wait to see what happens next...
