Snow is falling...all around...

Arrived at Lumsden early this morning just in time to avoid Round Two of Autumn Vs. Winter.
Winter played an initial sneaky move by allowing the Temperature to drop below freezing in the night - Autumn re-claimed the advantage, with a warm Wind and a short Rainfall around 6.45am, luring certain innocent bystanders to venture out of the house without a pair of gloves. However by 8.30am there was a definite shift back towards sub-zero, and at 8.38am Winter scored a direct hit with a flurry of Snowflakes. An arrival in Lumsden at 9.14am saw further sporadic Snowfall, which by 10.31am had become constant, with Winter making a clear bid towards settling in for several hours.
The BBC has predicted defeat for Autumn by the weekend, with Blizzards and Snowdrifts likely to offer the knock-out blow.
Fine - Friday sees my last day at work this year, and I will settle in front of my woodburning stove with a cup of hot chocolate and watch the fun!
This is likely to be my last post this year - have a lovely Christmas everybody, and see you next year! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7LDuSGrfZQ
