They have flown the nest (some of Wendy's work in progress)
So the bulk of the second group of sumer residents have departed.
It was great to spend time with them and get an insight into so many varied ways of working.
The weekend was very quiet, Wendy and I rattled around the place ocassionally bumping into each other whilst catching some of that elusive summer sun. I went up the lane to see if I could snaffle some more raspberries but alas they are all gone. I did, however, see some of Roz's work up in the old abandoned cottage further up the lane. It looks great, I only wish I had taken my camera, the whole experience was quite eerie. As I poked my head through various windows with only the odd bullock looking on, I couldn't help wandering about the past occupants of the cottage and how it came to be in this stage of beautiful delapidation.
